Policies

MINIMUM NIGHTS STAY: Due to our small size, a 2 night stay is generally required for a weekend stay throughout the year.  Our reservation system is programmed to require 2 nights when a Saturday is booked. Occasionally, a one night stay can be accommodated. Please call or view our Specials for these times. A 3 night stay is required on some peak holidays and events.

DEPOSITS: An advance payment of one night is taken when your reservation is made. The balance is due upon arrival.

CANCELLATION: In the unlikely event your plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 7 days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation. You will receive a refund of your deposit less a $40 processing fee per room.

In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than 7 days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund may be made less a $40 processing fee per room.

Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special events. A 30-day cancellation notice is required on multiple room bookings, whole house bookings and for some holidays and special events.

CHECK-IN:    3:00 PM – 7:00 PM.  If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make prior arrangements.

CHECK-OUT:    11:00 AM.

NON-SMOKING POLICY: Smoking is not permitted inside the Inn or on the balcony.  Smoking is allowed, however, outside on the porch.

CHILDREN: Rosehaven caters primarily to couples, families with older children and individuals on business or looking for a respite from their hectic pace. While children are welcome at Rosehaven, our occupancy rules allow a maximum of two occupants per room. Children of any age are counted as an occupant. If there are more than two people in your party you will need to book an additional room.

PETS: Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate your furry friends.  Rosehaven is home to Ophelia, our wonderful Maine Coon cat. She generally restricts herself to our personal living spaces and does not roam freely throughout the guest spaces, although she often makes herself available upon request.
